Steering committee

The Steering Committee is responsible for guiding and supervising the EISS co-ordination centre and the EISS project as a whole. It meets twice per annum and is composed of the following persons:

Anne Mosnier, Open Rome, Paris, France [since February 2007]
Maja Socan, Institute for Public Health, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Brunhilde Schweiger, Robert Koch Institute, Berlin, Germany [since August 2006]
John Watson, Health Protection Agency, London, United Kingdom

Koos van der Velden (Chair) and John Paget (secretariat) and Adam Meijer (secretariat) attend the Steering Committee meetings on behalf of the EISS co-ordination centre.

A representative from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control attends the meeting as an observer.

Helmut Uphoff (Staatliches Untersuchungsamt Hessen, Dillenburg, Germany) from June 2002 to March 2006
